Send money internationally

You can send money abroad to another PayPal account just like you would domestically:

1. Open the app and log in to your account
2. Choose "Send and Request"
3. Enter your recipient's name, PayPal username, email or mobile number.
4. Enter the amount, choose the currency, and add a note if you'd like. Select "Continue".
5. Choose your payment type and payment method.
6. Review the transaction information, including all applicable fees, and select "Send".

You can also send money to someone who doesn’t have a PayPal account with Xoom, a PayPal service,² right from the PayPal app. To transfer money internationally via Xoom in the PayPal app, go to the App menu and choose your preferred delivery option.

Here's how to send money to a Venmo account in the US from your PayPal app:

1. Go to "Send & Request" in the app
2. Enter the recipient's phone number and select their Venmo account
3. Choose the amount to send and set the currency to United States Dollars (USD)
4. Select your preferred payment method
5. Confirm and select Send

2. Choose the transfer you want to track
3. The transaction details will show the status
